The Eastern Wild Turkey is one of the most elusive turkeys in North America; in southern Georgia, there is no exception. But at McCranie Plantation, our guides will vastly improve your odds of getting a shot on a big gobbler. First, our 3,000 acres of farmland, along with ample water supply, ensures the biggest turkeys are close by. Second, our guides know the terrain and spend countless hours tracking these birds’ movements. Farming and living on these grounds everyday, our guides know where the gobblers are roosting and strutting. If you are not a great call on these wild birds, don’t worry.
